DWAYNE JOHNSON AND VIN DIESEL BEEF OFFICIALLY OVER? (The Things article sample)
Following
a video posted on June 1, 2023, by the “Black Adam” actor, Dwayne
Johnson on all his social media pages announcing that he will be reprising his
role as Hobbs in the next Fast and Furious movie, fans are beginning to
speculate if indeed his beef with costar Vin Diesel has officially ended.
Recall
that back in 2016 the two powerhouse actors had a major fallout that rocked
Hollywood and the Fast and Furious franchise when Dwayne Johnson popularly
known as The Rock openly lambasted his male costars on an Instagram post which
was later deleted.
Airing
his grievances, he complained that “… some conduct themselves as stand-up men
and true professionals, while some others don’t. The ones that don’t are too
chicken sh!t to do anything about it anyway. Candy asses” he added without
mentioning names.
Before
he ended the post, The Rock however gave a hint which led fans to believe that
his major issue was with the movie direction, and hence he could be referring
to Vin Diesel who was one of the producers at the time.
The
feud further escalated when Vin Diesel openly reached out to his costar during
an interview, asking him to return to the franchise, but Dwayne Johnson
declined the request in another interview and even labeled Vin Diesel as
‘manipulative’ for bringing his kids and late costar Paul Walker into this.
